Precast concrete wall panels that act as load bearing elements in a building are both a structurally efficient and economical means of transferring floor and roof loads through the structure and into the foundation. The Wall module of PCPack is intended for the analysis and design of Wall Panel, Sandwich Panel, Wall Spandrel or Shear Wall type Precast/Prestressed walls with conventional reinforcements, prestress strands or Combo for in-service condition. It provides the design to resist all loads (dead, live and wind) to which they are subjected, including eccentric axial loads and lateral force with 3 different strand profiles viz. Straight, single point depressed and two-point depressed profiles.

The designs are based on the provisions of ‘Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete (ACI 318-08) Precast Design handbook 7th edition.
